I feel for Travis. He is a good kid, I hate that this happened to him,
I still think he is a future major league first baseman.

Honestly, I don't think Swihart is some super player. But I believe he certainly has a MLB future as an above average MLB catcher. I believe he should be catching games in the MLB. Especially with Hanigan giving us pretty much nothing this year. We should be getting him time in both LF and C in the majors so he can work on his bat. Hanigan took a beating today while catching wright. Hard to swing a hit bat when you are that beat up. But I love the way he takes charge of the pitchers when he is catching,

Bobby Poyner with another good outing. 2.0 IP 3K's 0BB only 1H allowed. Not sure why he's not in Salem yet I agree. He needs to see better hitters. He is too advanced for sal hitters.

Wasn't his best season because many of his seasons were so outlandish, but Ted Williams rocked a 1.096 OPS in his final season. Williams had the best , prettiest and most perfect swing I have ever seen, plus his hand eye coordination was super human.

Sox need to keep running in strategic situations, so as the season progresses, we continue to give opposing pitchers and the opposing defense something else to think about.

Fernandez has amazing movement and sometimes amazing command. The Marlins would be nuts to trade him.

If the starters could go deeper in games, would that make the bullpen better?

I am not sure about ockimey's hit tool.
His swing is all over the place, not sure how that would translate at the higher levels.

As enthusiastic as I am about Benintendi, Alex Bregman is just tearing up AA ball. As many home runs as strikeouts for a SS? Wow. 12 HR now. An wRC+ of 204 in AA ball already. He was the one guy the Sox rated higher than Benintendi in the draft if I remember correctly. I really wanted the sox to take Bregman as well and was disappointed we did not take the pitcher from vandy, but I so happy we got Benny.

It seems like Benintendi is adjusting to AA after a little blip at the beginning but that is not at all unusual of course. If anything, his adjustments to each level so far have overall been extremely smooth. He's working hard trying to steal bases and is having some impact in the field even when he hasn't hit. He seems focused on improving his overall game, which is exactly what the org wants. He has been impressive since day one. When you have it really easy at Salem, it can take a while to adjust to the better pitching in double a. However even when he was struggling, he was still making solid contact. His approach was always poised and he always has a plan at the plate. He has a chance to be a tremendous hitter, worthy of our current batch of killer 'b's.

Koji looking very hittable. He is losing movement and the location is getting spotty at best.

Lsu roughed up Dakota Hudson in the sec tournament, 5 innings 4 runs but only 2 earned.
Still think the sox will take him if he makes it to #12.

Jimmy Nelson looks like a better and better trade target after watching Buchholz throw tonight.

The Florida-Lsu game in the sec tournament was amazing.
Puk had a good game. I doubt he makes it to #2.

Sox really need Buchholz to finish his pitches. Seems like everything he leaves up or over the plate gets hammered.

Puig is just not the answer for us. I love the arm, but the 10 cent head is not a good fit for us.

If Buchholz gets his act together and starts throwing well by late June, I say we trade him at max value with very little else available,
If he keeps throwing like he is, then we should keep him.

Cosart and Poyner need to be moved up ASAP if they are at all ready. They're no babies relative to the league, and especially if a guy is drafted at a later age, if he performs you need to move him. I agree 100 percent. Poyner's stuff needs to be tested against better hitters.

Ive mentioned before Tazawa and Kimbrel are being overused. Robbie Ross has been pretty good and could take some of the load off of him. I agree. Farrell can still warm up Tawaza if ross gets wobbly.

When the bottom of our lineup is hitting, then we are in for a good night.

Espinoza has a few bad outings, and now everyone wants to trade him. I love Archer, but the Rays will never do that or the Yankees and I love Moncada too much. But I do like the Craig for Mickey Mouse trade, but they have to throw in Donald Duck as well. I am not a fan of archer's or a fan of miller's so I am glad our divisional rivals would not trade them to us. Yelich though is very tempting for the right price. Ps: isn't Stanton in a world class slump? Hhhmmmm!

Wow! Very intriguing but I doubt the dodgers would do that.
